Welcome to my new wesbite, where you will find updates on “When They Come For You,” including my blog posts about civil liberties issues in the news – in which I hope to become a one-stop resource for commentary and context on the big stories of the week. The site will also feature links to news articles about constitutional abuses, book reviews, upcoming media appearances, the promotional tour, information on my journalism and three previous books, and much more. I invite everyone to comment and contribute to the discussion. There is a lot going on out there, and it pays to be informed – especially in these rather perilous times. Thank you for your input – and support. David Kirby

Really looking forward to this! Especially interested in seeing the reception among the political parties and hearing the discussion that evolves after the release 😉 Well done, David!
Thanks so much Julie! I hope it does spark a discussion. There is much that both the left AND right will like about the book – but not everything. Some parts might be a bit too libertarian for some on the left, while the LGBT rights sections will displease many conservatives. But maybe I can help change that: I have a story about a trans teen boy in high school who was forced to wear a wristband so he wouldn’t use the boys room. It’s heartwrenching what happen to him
